Handcrafted Victorian Treasures: Out of Darkness, Into the Light.
I have always found joy in beauty. For years, I expressed my love for design by putting together weddings, decorating rooms, and crafting for family celebrations. But when I lost someone incredibly close to my heart, my world went dark. The weight of that grief felt impossible to carry.
During that painful time, the only comfort I could find was in visualizing heaven. In my mind’s eye, it was filled with soft, peaceful, nostalgic tones—pinks, beiges, and golds. Seeking a way to process our tremendous pain, my family and I turned to crafting Victorian-style holiday ornaments inspired by those exact colors.
I know in my heart that God put this vision on me. He gave me this creative outlet to guide me through the darkness and gave us a way to continue creating beautiful things together. With the help of God, I found the light again.
Today, my creative process flows freely and spontaneously. I never know where an idea will come from—a single word or a glimpse of color can trigger my next design. I am deeply in love with what I do, not only because of the beauty of the pieces, but also because of the wonderful people who bring these meaningful, vintage treasures into their own homes.
